Aprés JVC et ses trois nouveaux projecteurs, c'est au géant Sony d'abattre ses cartes pour nous proposer le Sony VPL-HW 15, petit frère du VW85 présenté il y a quelques jours.
Si nous ne possédons pas encore de nombreuses informations, sachez que ce modèle SXRD 1080p verra son contraste atteindre les 60 000:1 en usant d'un iris dynamique. C'est le principal changement par rapport à son prédécesseur d'ailleurs. Il conserve une connectique complète, un double lens shift et un niveau sonore des plus discrets.

1080 Full HD SXRD Panel technology
With three of Sony’s 1920 x 1080 SXRD panels at the heart of the BRAVIA SXRD Home Cinema Projectors, a consistently superior image is produced across the entire screen. The unique combination of three separate panels of 1920 x 1080 resolution (one each for red, green and blue) means that SXRD can deliver over 6.2 million pixels, more than twice as many as the 2.8 million pixels you get with other 720p HD ready projectors. SXRD provides film-quality smoothness by minimizing the space between pixels (0.35µm) for smooth and dot-less pictures.
High Contrast Ratio – 60,000:1 with Advanced Iris 3™ technology
The Advanced Iris 3 contrast enhancement works like the human eye, responding dynamically to the level of light in each scene, always selecting the optimum contrast. With a very high range of 60,000:1, Advanced Iris 3 can bring out the detail in darker sequences and prevent bright scenes from looking washed out.
Digital Picture Processing – BRAVIA ENGINE 2
The unique BRAVIA ENGINE 2 delivers vibrant colours and exceptional image quality. It consists of eight separate stages of image enhancement – carried out in real time – each has a specialised function. Panel alignment function
The panel alignment function allows users to select R (Red) or B (Blue) to make adjustments based on G (Green), and to adjust the horizontal and vertical direction by shifting a full image of each colour, achieving the perfect colour registration of the projected images.
